Brand coordinator

(Social Media + Copywriter)

 20 hours per week | $600- $900 per month depending on experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a unified brand voice across our digital properties. We're seeking an experienced brand copywriter and social media manager to join the SYLD  team. We’re growing quickly, and there’s a ton of opportunity to be creative and have your ideas implemented. We thrive on collaboration, creative risk taking, and forging genuine relationships with the clients we serve. If you have big ideas and want to see them come to life, this is the perfect place to do it!

 

We’re looking for someone who’s able to be flexible and feel comfortable working in multiple roles. As a social media manager, you’ll be in charge of designing + developing content, curating images and videos, drafting social media copy, maintaining our content calendar, and posting on a regular basis. You’ll also work closely with our Digital Marketing Director to create and execute our overall social media strategy. As a copywriter, you’ll touch everything from email campaigns to course descriptions. You’ll even get to flex your creative writing skills on our blog. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

COPYWRITING: These tasks will shift on a weekly basis, but you should feel comfortable writing on-brand copy for the following customer/client touch points:

  • High-Converting Email/Newsletter copy promoting new and existing service offerings, influencer collaborations, and brand news

  • Social media ad briefs

  • Social media ad copy

  • SEO Optimized website copy for product pages

  • SEO Optimized Blog posts

 

SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Curate Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Youtube, LinkedIn and Twitter content

  • Showcase our best in-house and external imagery

  • Locate past and existing clients and ask permission to share their experience

  • Engage and Repost influencer content in an aesthetically pleasing and engaging way

  • Create engaging, on-brand Instagram story and Reels content

  • Maintain social media content calendar

  • Determine new opportunities to engage and expand our audience (contests, partnerships, creative ways to engage audiences)

  • Brainstorm ways to drum up excitement for new product launches, event announcements, and special holidays etc.)

  • Re-purpose and curate existing content for use on social media.

  • Research social media trends and make recommendations that are relevant to the SYLD’s marketing activities. 

  • Benchmarking and tracking competitors + key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs 

 

CREDENTIALS

  • You understand how to speak to women in a way that makes them feel understood, safe, celebrated, and loved.

  • You have at least 2-3 years of experience creating social media content and strategy for a brand

  • You’re an incredible writer who’s able to embody the voice and spirit of a brand

  • You proofread everything twice before you send it and are a stickler for correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation

  • You have an impeccable eye for aesthetics, and know how to make things look expensive, polished, and professional

  • You see the potential in our raw material (studio photos, unedited videos, influencer content) and can find creative ways to use what’s available

  • You understand the nuances of creating content for specific platforms and can identify unique opportunities to engage with our audience on each platform.

  • Experience creating content for Tik Tok, FB groups, Youtube, Twitter or other social platforms is a huge plus, but not required.

  • You’re incredibly organized and stay on top of due dates - when you see opportunities to make collaboration more efficient, you suggest them

Client Coordinator

(Client + User Experience)

 20 hours per week | $600- $900 per month depending on experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Client coordinators are involved with every step of the client journey at SYLD. Collaboration and communication is the name of the game for this position. The ideal User Experience Coordinator will be able to assess our existing process and come up with creative ways to streamline and improve it  to use in creating targeted client acquisition strategies. They also collaborate with the Digital Marketing and Social Media team by providing them valuable feedback from clients and supporting projects as needed. The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Good problem solving and analytical skills

  • Thorough understanding of entire e-commerce processes from conversion to fulfillment to customer service for a service-based business.

  • Hands-on experience with multiple platforms and systems (i.e. WIX, Chat software, email hosts like mailchimp, Ascend, Constant Contact, Kajabi)

  • Review management software (i.e. Yotpo, Bazaarvoice, Power Reviews)

  • Be proactive in identifying, resolving, and communicating challenges

  • Possess excellent follow-up capabilities, ability to prioritize and handle several small projects simultaneously

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate with clients and site visitors in a timely and professional manner via phone, email, and chat

  • Become a product expert and understand each customer's needs to provide real, effective solutions and deliver exceptional customer service

  • Build scripts and tutorials for phone / email online chat to improve day-to-day processes and answer frequently asked questions.

  • Help customers navigate SYLD website and encourage sales

  • Assist customers with managing their membership account and subscriptions.

  • Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about SYLD services, products, pricing, and availability

  • Work with Social Media team to manage responses to clients/customers on social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc)

  • Knowledge of customer service and chat best practices

  • Work with Brand Manager to initiate, manage and monitor customer reviews for SYLD across all digital platforms

  • Respond to customer questions in a timely manner to ensure a positive customer experience wherever they are.

  • Provide regular reporting and monthly recaps for established customer experience KPI's (i.e. Customer Satisfaction, Review Score, Complaints, etc.)

 

CREDENTIALS

  • You understand how to speak to women in a way that makes them feel understood, safe, celebrated, and loved.

  • Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience

  • Desire to provide the best possible experience for our customers

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and follow direction in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Self-sufficient, highly motivated with desire to learn

  • Must be a true team player, personable, professional, and flexible

  • Customer service orientated and ability to adapt and respond to different types of customer personalities

  • Experience in responding to customer inquiries via social channels: Facebook/Instagram

  • Manage and place incoming telephone calls

  • Offer friendly, accurate customer service in a timely fashion

  • Through your success in the role, you will support business development and client referral goals by actively cross-selling and referring customers

  • Manage the fielding and sending of important written business correspondence

  • You’re incredibly organized and stay on top of due dates - when you see opportunities to make collaboration more efficient, you suggest them
